CONTENT ID

A Content ID claim is generated by an automated system on YouTube, so your video may still get a claim even though you properly licensed the music. 

  • You can dispute the claim by following these guidelines: Dispute a Content ID Claim.
  • When you get to the box that asks you to explain your claim, copy/paste the contents of your license pdf.  You can access your license by accessing your account in the Subscribers Access area.  The license will be in a documents folder with your active subscription.
  • If the claim has not been released within 24 hours feel free to email support@haawk.com and they can help to clear the claim.

NOTE: A Content ID Claim is NOT a Copyright Strike. Copyright Claims do not affect the status of your YouTube Channel in any way. SoundGear Productions will never issue a Copyright Strike on YouTube.

If you do recieve a Copyright Strike please contact us at Soundgearproductions@gmail.com with the link to the video so we can work with HAAWK to dispute the channel claiming ownership of the music you are legally using in your production.  They are NOT the owners of the music.
